Our formal collaborative relationship with Sarah Center
has ended. We are in the process of re-evaluating our mission and
direction. More to come!
Sarah Center's Annual Spring
Boutique 2010 is April 22, 23 & 24 - 9 to 5pm
and April 25 - 11 to 3pm at their store - 1618 Vine St. Come check
out their
latest designs in handcrafted jewelry, quilting & card-making...Mother's Day,
Graduations or just a treat for yourself!
OCTOBER 22, 2009 -
SARAH (n) DIPITY FUNDRAISER
Thanks to everyone for
your generosity! We raised $8,800! The check was presented to
Director, Paula Houston, on Nov 12th. Paula said Sarah Center will use
this money toward purchases/investments that help generate revenue.
About 110 women attended the event, which was a
grand night of networking and fundraising! Thanks to Paula, Sheila &
Angelina from Sarah Center for their kind and inspirational words during the
event! We appreciate the support of the SC Board who attended too!

2009 - Over-The-Rhine Women's
Conference, May 16th
A few of our board members participated; it was very
successful; we sponsored the event with a $500 donation.
2009 - Award from Webfeat,
May
Sarah Center submitted an application with help from some of our
board members and was chosen to receive web design & development. The
Sarah Center logo is almost finished and the website should be active by
September, and will also allow them to sell jewelry on-line. We purchased
the website domain name sarahcenterjewelry.org, so will provide an active link
when it's ready for viewing!
2008 - 2nd Event - Holiday Party,

We enjoyed some tasty desserts, cheery music & great holiday fun!

1st Event - Thanksgiving
Dinner, Nov 19th
About 20 Sarah Center Women & Staff and 10+ XOWomen shared a
wonderful meal together as a "getting to know each other" event! We look
forward to meeting together again on Dec 17th, 5:30pm for a Holiday Party.

Off The Streets - a program of Cincinnati Union Bethel
Their mission is:
To assist women involved in prostitution move toward safety, recovery, empowerment and
community
reintegration.
